Borneo, he heard that a giant dragon lived in the high mountains there,
guarding a very rare pink pearl.

pearl unsuccessful.

his ministers to discuss how to seize the pink pearl. After carefully
studying the clues provided by Zheng He, they finally decided to send a
fleet of more than ten ships to embark on this dangerous journey. The
emperor also sent his two sons, Wang Ping and Wang Shan, to participate
in the voyage. After the two princes waved goodbye to their hometown,
they boarded the ship and set off on the treasure hunt.

When the ship arrived in
Sabah, the soldiers on board put down the boats and rowed ashore. They
wore loose red-brown trousers, dark brown boots, dark green blouses with
ruffled collars, and green belts around their waists. In addition, they
had a spear made of heavy gold hanging on their shoulders and strong
helmets on their heads. As for the infantry, they wore special armor and
were equipped with bows and arrows. They wore military uniforms and
looked very majestic. In order to seize the pearl, All the soldiers
followed the long and winding path to the top of Mount Kinabalu.

Just as the soldiers were
about to reach the mountain peak, the giant dragon suddenly appeared and
took a deep breath. The soldiers could not believe the sight before
them: the giant dragon had a pair of big red-black eyes, its body was
composed of purple, blue, and green, and its red claws were as sharp as
swords!
士兵們還沒回過神來, 巨龍便張口噴火, 像是要把士兵燒成灰燼! 他們立即轉身跑下山, 找地方避開火焰.
Before the soldiers could
recover, the dragon opened its mouth and breathed fire, as if it wanted
to burn the soldiers to ashes! They immediately turned around and ran
down the mountain, looking for a place to avoid the flames.
第二天, 王平和王善決定跟隨士兵一起前往山峰, 但是同樣的事情又發生了: 那條憤怒的巨龍突然出現, 噴出一道火牆, 逼使士兵退回到停泊在港口的小艇內. 見到士兵那麼匆忙地撤退後, 巨龍舒舒服服的坐回巢中, 得意的笑了.
The next day, Wang Ping and
Wang Shan decided to follow the soldiers to the mountain peak, but the
same thing happened again: the angry dragon suddenly appeared, spitting
out a wall of fire, forcing the soldiers to retreat to the small boat
moored in the port. After seeing the soldiers retreating in such a
hurry, the dragon sat back comfortably in its nest and smiled proudly.
那天晚上, 王平和王善努力的嘗試找出制服巨龍的方法. 王善心想:”巨龍應該會每天離開它的巢找食物吧?”
That night, Wang Ping and
Wang Shan tried hard to find a way to subdue the dragon. Wang Shan

leaves were very lush, which was enough to hide Wang Shan from the
dragon on Mount Kinabalu. At this time, The dragon is looking down the
mountain to see if any soldiers want to steal its pearls.

out to look for food.

Wang Shan looked at the
position of the sun in the sky to calculate the time for the dragon to
leave its nest. He hoped that when the dragon left its nest the next
day, the soldiers would have enough time to go up to the top of the
mountain to steal the pearls. However, this idea was quickly abandoned,
because the dragon returned to its lair on the top of the mountain after
a while. Wang Shan thought to himself: "It will never leave the nest
for more than a few hours!" Wang Shan walked down the mountain in
disappointment and returned to the barracks at the port. However, He
decided to go back the next day to see if the dragon was out looking for
food at the same time.

out to forage at the same time every day, for several hours. However,
this discovery did not make Wang Shan feel particularly excited, because
his soldiers could not climb Mount Kinabalu within a few hours.

small group of soldiers to the woods on the mountain. They hid
themselves in the woods to monitor the dragon. When the dragon left its
lair to forage, Wang Shan immediately stepped into the kite, and then
the soldiers flew the kite into the sky. Wang Shan and the kite floated
with the breeze to the dragon's lair on Mount Kinabalu, while the
soldiers controlled the kite.

Soon after, Wang Shan
finally came to the top of the dragon's lair. He bent down, picked up
the pink pearl, and put down a pink Chinese lantern, hoping to deceive
the dragon. Then, the soldiers retracted the rope with force, and the
kite flew across the sky and landed in the woods. When Wang Shan landed
safely, he led the soldiers back to the small boat moored in the port,
joined his brother Wang Ping, rowed back to the warship, and set off for
the return voyage.
過了不久, 士兵們聽到一聲非常恐怖, 像雷聲一樣的咆哮!

heard a very terrifying roar like thunder! The dragon was not deceived
by the red lantern, and chased it all the way down the mountain to the
sea. It was very angry, its eyes were red, and its long and sharp claws
cut open the trees along the way; it opened its mouth to reveal its
prominent teeth, and the scales on its body showed blue-purple under the
reflection of the sun. The dragon was so angry that it wanted to burn
the warships and bury them all at the bottom of the sea. Although the
army was far away from the shore, But the dragon still jumped into the
water to chase them.

Wang Shan was ready to meet
the dragon's attack. He immediately ordered the soldiers to fire the
cannon. At this time, the dragon flew up from the water and was ready to
spit fire at the warship! When it saw the round and bright thing shot
out from the cannon, it thought it was its pink pearl. It thought that
the soldiers finally felt guilty and wanted to return the pearl to it,
so it opened its mouth to catch the pearl.

sea without a trace. All the soldiers on the ship cheered for Wang Shan,
because he not only saved their lives, but also succeeded in taking the
pearl.
在回中國的路程上, 王平見人人都誇讚王善勇敢和機智,
便開始妒忌他弟弟, 但他並沒有表現出來. 一個晚上, 王平躲在自己的船艙裏, 決定獨占珍珠並奪取弟弟偷粉紅珍珠的功勞.
王平知道一旦父親得知弟弟的機智和勇敢, 一定不會讓自己獨占珍珠的, 所以他暗自想了一個計謀.
On the way back to China,
Wang Ping saw that everyone praised Wang Shan for his bravery and wit,
and began to be jealous of his brother, but he did not show it. One
night, Wang Ping hid in his cabin and decided to monopolize the pearl
and take the credit for stealing the pink pearl from his brother. Wang
Ping knew that once his father learned about his brother's wit and
bravery, he would not let himself monopolize the pearl, so he secretly
thought of a plan.

After the warship returned
to China, Wang Ping and Wang Shan brought the pearl to the palace to

figured out how to capture the pearl and defeat the dragon.

returned to the ship parked in the harbor and set sail again. He let the

breeze once again took the ship to Borneo and anchored in Brunei.
